On Friday May 8, 2015 I was preparing our travel trailer for our first camping trip of the season.  Anticipating there would be no issues I hooked up the water to flush the lines from the winterization.  As I was opening my outdoor kitchen, I noticed some water, I dried it up thinking it was nothing and to my surprise here comes more water.  I quickly realized I had a problem so I went inside the camper and my bathroom floor was flooded.  Having no idea where the water was coming from I quickly shut off the source.  I immediately went into the house and phoned Kamper City, explained my dilemma and to my comfort Michael simply asked – when can you get it here?  I told him I was on my way.  As soon as I pulled in, he spotted me, even calling out my name – “hey guys, this is Betsy in the Surveyor, she called about a water leak, get her in here.”  Just like that, I had the owner of the business and several techs looking at my camper so I could be on the road and at my camping destination that evening.  All’s well that ends well, and I can’t say enough about the way I was treated at Kamper City.  Not only was my problem fixed (toilet failure), it was also covered by my extended warranty thanks to Kamper City.  I was able to have the unit pressure checked, leaks sealed and washed - all in less than 4 hours – they really took care of me, I received the best service.  Smiles, professionalism and courtesy all the way.  We purchased our first camper at Kamper City but made the mistake on our purchase of this unit from another RV dealer, which I requested the stickers from “the other camper place” be removed and replaced with Kamper City stickers, of course my request was quickly accommodated.

Kamper City has my business, my trust and my sincere thanks for taking care of me so I was able to make it to Cedar Point that night for opening day with a fully working (and beautifully clean) unit.  My husband and I will only deal with Kamper City on all our camping needs as not only did they go above and beyond in this instance but they have always treated us wonderfully in the past.  I highly recommend Kamper City to all my friends and anyone reading this review, you will not go wrong there.

Typically I do not do testimonials, but in this instance I feel it was needed.  My wife and I and our 3 year old set out from Erie PA to Kamper City.  After looking at several local dealers, not one really had what we were looking for.  And the local dealers seemed like they did not want to take the time to help us at all.


 We arrived at Kamper City around 2pm and had the look around, Tom Duluc showed us what we were looking for and was very friendly and helpful.  The weather was very hot and he brought out water for my family, small gesture but appreciated.


After finding the 2012 Flagstaff Classic Pop Up 425 D we decided on a purchase.  I emphasized that I needed this transaction to go as fast as possible.  As anyone knows with an active 3 year old even waiting an hour can be a lifetime.  The guys as Kamper City stepped up.  They installed the electric brake, prepped the camper, did the go over, and did the financing in about 3 hrs.  I know still a long time with a child, but with what they needed to do I felt they really tried.


Appreciate all the help with the new Flagstaff.  Everyone was very friendly, and when spending my money I appreciate feeling like you want to earn it, and not just take it.

Dear Mr. Eckerfield,

 My wife and I have been customers of Kamper City for about a year and I have written before regarding the quality of service we have received from your staff. We initially purchased our travel trailer and traded a Keystone TT that had been purchased from a competitor and at the time we were somewhat satisfied with the service we had received over the three year period we were in possession of the Keystone product. But I have come to realize that the service we had received prior to coming to Kamper City was poor compared to your service, to say the least. 

After the purchase of our Flagstaff TT at Kamper City I was first impressed that the salesman who had initially sold us the Flagstaff at your lot acknowledged us by name on each of our visits to your facility.

Shortly after delivery of the RV I had suffered minor damage to the ladder on the rear of the TT when I took it to have the wheels high speed balanced in preparation for our trip south in the fall. At Kamper City I met with Chris while estimating the damage. Chris had a service tech put some caulking around where the ladder had pulled away from the body in order to insure the TT suffered no water damage while we waited for replacement parts
The repairs were performed timely in less than 2 weeks and at a very reasonable cost which was not the case with the Keystone we had repaired under warranty at your competitor's. Although Keystone had provided replacement steps at no charge for our Keystone, your competitor charged us nearly $300 for installation which included some welding. Additionally, we waited nearly three months (Jan, Feb, & March) for the repairs to be authorized, approved and completed.

In October of 2011 on the first night of our first trip in our new RV from Kamper City, we found ourselves without electricity due to faulty electrical outlets. I called your service department and talked to Steve. He contacted an authorized Flagstaff Dealer in Cincinnati about 30 miles from where we were camped. He made an appointment for us to be serviced the next morning and insured that the dealer was aware that the work to be performed was covered under the warranty.

We were so relieved that Steve made it his business to handle much of what I assumed would be my problem. But this doesn't end with our initial salesman and the sales manager, Chris or Steve. Every visit, every question and every request of your staff, which includes Chris and Arron, your sales, counter and service people have gone out of their way to respond quickly and pleasantly.

I just wanted you to know that your staff is walking your talk and as a result of how we have been treated over the past year, you can consider us as satisfied and loyal customers of Kamper City.

It was very nice to meet you yesterday, you guys were all so helpful. We appreciate that you came in on your day off for us…..We are glad we choose to make the trip and use Kamper City to purchase our RV. We are excited and can’t wait for the camping season to get started and have our new trailer set up!

Also wanted to let you know that in addition to the courtesy and knowledge that everyone displayed towards us, the Sunday hours listed on the website were also a deciding factor.
